Lok Sabha Election 2024 Live: Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Director-General of Police (DGP) Prashant Kumar said that on this day, the second phase of the Lok Sabha election commenced at 7 pm in eight parliamentary constituencies across nine districts.

- He mentioned that the voting process was peaceful, and no untoward incident had been reported thus far.

- It was conveyed that all personnel on the field were continuously monitoring the situation, as the standards of the EC force had been deployed. It was further noted that 239 force companies had been deployed.
