What is difference between Chuck Roast and Eye Round

These cuts of beef are actually very different from one another. Although they are both used for beef roasts, the method of cooking is not the same.

A chuck roast is a cut from the shoulder and is fatty, making it perfect to cook in liquid in a low and slow oven.

Eye of Round is cut from the hind leg and is very lean without much fat. Cooking this cut in a crockpot is perfect because it allows the steam and juices to create a tender roast.
