For starters, “Until I Found You” is based on Stephen Sanchez’s real life, as implied when he identifies one “Georgia” as the addressee in the very-first line.As Stephen has described this piece, it is inspired by an earlier era in which things weren’t going well for him at all. Then in came the addressee, the one bright spot in the equation. But being who he was at the time, Sanchezpushed her away.

Afterwards, they did not deal with each other for a spell. But then, when the pair finally did reconnect, it was as if they had never broken up to begin with.
And some of those sentiments do successfully come through in this lyrically-terse piece.Or rather, the way they are organized isn’t necessarily in a linear fashion.
For instance in the first verse, Stephen is telling Georgia that ‘he’ll never let her go again, like he did’, thus revealing that he has already messed up with her in the past. But then, the chorus that follows obviously harps back to the beginning of the relationship, i.e. when he first “found her” and him remembering how doing so mitigated his depression.
The second verse then solidifies the notion that this is a relationship that has been rekindled, after the vocalist basically dumped the addressee the first time around. So it’s as if the verses are in the present but the chorus the past, in a manner of speaking.Or another way the latter can be potentially interpreted is, after having lost Georgia and regaining her hand, now Stephen truly appreciates her more than ever. But describing this song in simplest terms, you can tell that the addressee is someone the vocalist truly loves and values.

Music Video of “Until I Found You”
By his own admittance, Sanchez’s artistry has been influenced by mid-20thcentury musical acts like Elvis Presley (1935-1977), Nat King Cole (1919-1965) and Frank Sinatra (1915-1998).And he turned that point of inspiration into the motif upon which the music video to “Until I Found You”is visualized.
In keeping with that theme, director Daniel Iglesias Jr. even employedwhat appears to bea professional Marilyn Monroe (1926-1962) lookalike in Jeri Mae James to co-star on the clip.
Some More Interesting Facts
There is also an official remix to this song. On this remix, Sanchezteams upwith another concurrently up-and-coming musician who ascended from the social-media circuit named Em Beihold.
This track was written by Sanchez. Its producers are Ian Fitchuk and Konrad Snyder.
The intended addressee of this song, Georgia Brown, serves as its background vocalist. More interesting to note is that Georgia is currentlySanchez’s real-life girlfriend.

Your fantastic voice, lyrics and music is such a huge breath of fresh air. I also love the music from the 50’s and 60’s and your sound is spot on for those times. You’ll hit gold with your recordings because your sound surely deserves to.
